His love affair with the art of hot glass utilizing a torch his current began in 2003. Becoming an apprentice in 2004 at Vetro Art Glass in Grapevine, Texas taught him the basic skills of off-hand glassblowing and after working as a full-time glassblower and shop foreman, he decided to built his own private Dallas, Texas studio in 2008. Scott continued to expand his knowledge with regard to hot glass and studied under numerous, well-known glass artists.
Scott shared his passion of the medium with others by teaching both lampwork and off-hand glassblowing. He created an array of sculpture, jewelry, paperweights, platters, bowls, and many other objects.
Beth lives in Cedar Point, only a couple of miles from Tidewater Gallery. Although creative in many ways, Beth uses her talent and love of painting to decorate the frames for her hand made mirrors. Her whimsical painted figures that surround her mirrors bring enjoyment to any and all that use them.
