Appearances @ 1305

Opening Final Friday, August 25th is "Appearances," watercolors by Carson Wassermann. The show will run through Sunday, September 24th, with a closing reception that evening from 7-9 pm.

Gallery hours beginning August 26th: Tues-Sat 11-3 & September 10th, 12-5 for SSOM

Carson's work is a perfect way to end the summer, while reminding us of why we look forward to this season every year. Her lush use of the watercolor medium brings to life fresh faces enrobed in color and bathed by light. Carson often paints from her travels in South America, Mexico, and elsewhere, allowing the viewer to come into contact with people and places obviously personal to her. Carson works as a bilingual social worker in Cincinnati, and her interest and devotion toward individuals is reflected in the way people are portrayed in her work.
